Family Getaway
Creed Ranch was created as our family’s dream fishing and hunting getaway—and it quickly became a favorite among friends and family. With the perfect balance of cozy comfort and outdoor adventure, we decided to open it to others so your family can enjoy it too.
Our fully appointed three-bedroom guest house features a master bedroom, two bunk rooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a stocked kitchen. The dining area seats six, and the living room offers a comfortable space to relax with TV and internet.
Outside, the real adventure begins. Relax on the porches, gather around the backyard fire pit, or explore everything Creed Ranch has to offer—ATV riding, fishing, hunting, kayaking, pond exploring, and time spent with our animals. It’s the perfect place for families to unplug, explore, and make lasting memories.
Hunting in Style
Hunting is the heart of the Creed Ranch experience. Whether you’re here with family or friends, it’s truly a hunter’s paradise.
Our insulated, heated hunting stands offer exceptional comfort, complete with screened windows, shelving for gear, and a level of quality most guests have never experienced before.
In addition to native game like whitetail deer, dove, and turkey, Creed Ranch offers opportunities to pursue exotic species including axis, fallow, nilgai, rams, boar, and more. Based on availability, exotic hunts can be arranged to create a truly unique experience.
A dedicated cleaning station and walk-in cooler in the barn ensure your harvest is handled with care. At Creed Ranch, every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
Events
We are also available for events and have great indoor and outdoor activities for your corporate events or special occasions.
In our event center, your event guests will have a great time enjoying our pool table, bar, the theater area, and space for dancing.
And there is no limit to the fun to be had outdoors. We have guided trail rides on ATVs, catch and release fishing in the stocked ponds, kayaking, a shooting range, archery, and skeet shooting. As for the large ponds, one of the ponds is stocked with bass and another is stocked with catfish. Guests are welcome to swim, kayak, fish, or just dangle their feet in the pond and enjoy the great outdoors.
Whether your guests want to be inside or outside, there are a lot of things to do to keep them entertained. As for food, we can arrange to have food provided for your event or you can bring your own food.
ANIMALS
We have some permanent residents of Creed Ranch that are near and dear to our hearts. We hope you will enjoy and love them too.
First of all, we have our pride and joy – our herd of American Bison. We have 13 magnificent buffalo on the ranch and we love every one of their shaggy heads. They are the heart of the ranch, especially one particular special guy. His name is Tomahawk and we consider him to be the “spirit of Creed”. You can definitely pick out this big guy. Everyone who visits our ranch loves his big hairy head and magnificent horns. He has an extra bit of personality and obviously considers himself the king of the Ranch.
Next, we couldn’t be a proper Texas ranch without our Texas Longhorns. We have 2 steer and a cow. And when we say longhorns, we mean it. Check out these horns! We try not to be biased because we love all of our longhorns, but we couldn’t help but fall in love with one of our steer in particular. Our black and white fella, Rocky stole our hearts. This special animal is more pet than cattle. He loves to be petted. Next to eating, getting pets is his favorite thing. If you have never pet a Longhorn before, Rocky may be the animal who changes that for you!
And last but not least, we have our most exotic permanent residents, the Ankole Watusi. These animals are fascinating. With origins from East Africa, this breed of cattle are known for their large, widespread horns. When they are fully grown, their horns are so big it’s almost ridiculous. They can be a variety of different colors, but usually they are red.
We have five of these special animals. Ours are still young and we enjoy watching them grow. Red is the dark colored one. Angela is partial to him because he started out as the runt of the group. He is almost the biggest one now. Be sure and get a good picture of Red!
Our Herds
Tomahawk
Keep an eye out for Tomahawk — he is the spirit of Creed. Our guests love his big hairy head and his majestic horns. We have a herd of 13 buffalo. We love all of our American Bison but we have a special affection for Tomahawk. Trust us, you will fall in love.
Texas Longhorns
Being in Texas, of course, we love all of our Texas longhorns. We are home to two steer and one cow. But we can’t get enough of Rocky. Rocky is more pet than cattle! All of us are amazed. He is the first Longhorn that any of us have ever met who lets us pet him. And he doesn’t just let us, he loves it!
Ankole Watusi
They’re still young, but we love watching them grow. When fully grown, their horns will be impressively large. All five are favorites—especially Red, the dark-colored one who started as the runt and is now nearly the biggest. Be sure to get a photo of Red!
